McDonald’s Partners with NFL to Make Food Trailer

Move over delicious tailgating BBQ tradition, low cost burgers and prizes are headed your way. The drunk munchies are coming to you this time.


“OAK BROOK, Ill., Aug. 27, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — In its second year as the official restaurant sponsor of the NFL, McDonald’s is celebrating football fans’ love for the game with a new mindset of tailgating and exclusive football content and prizes for customers.

To help fans get into the spirit, McDonald’s is launching the national McDonald’s Tailgate Photo Sweepstakes. Participants have a chance to win the ultimate McDonald’s tailgate experience, the grand prize they’ll never forget in their hometown, with the McDonald’s mobile restaurant rolling up with enough food for 200 friends, family members and neighbors.

McDonald’s customers can use QR codes on McDonald’s medium beverages with NFL-themed packaging to access exclusive NFL Now video content. Customers can also use QR codes on McDonald’s medium fries to access the McDonald’s Pick The Play Sweepstakes and enter for the chance to win NFL-related prizes – including a trip for two to Super Bowl® XLIX in Arizona.
