A Connecticut mother is accused of driving drunk with her daughter in the car. Police say she was busted at a McDonalds drive-thru.
A worker at the fast food restaurant called police, telling them Michelle Dion, 28, was clearly intoxicated and had a child in the car with her.
When asked by police if she drank any alcohol, “she said she had two glasses of wine earlier in the day.” Officers also report dion was slurring her word and had “red, glassy blood shot eyes.”
Dion refused a breath test, but police say she failed a field sobriety test by “losing her balance several times during the walk and turn.”
The child was turned over to a family member. Dion now faces DUI and risk of injury to a minor charges.
