New Port Richey, Florida — An intoxicated woman with no sense of time was arrested Sunday morning after she refused to leave a McDonald’s drive-thru and demanded free food.
Pasco Sheriff’s deputies say 34-year-old Kimberly Womack pulled into the drive-thru in the 7200 block of SR 54 around 6:03 a.m. and demanded they give her two free Big Macs because she was unsatisfied with the ones she had last time she was there.
When they told her they didn’t have Big Macs because they were only serving breakfast, she then demanded they give her two free Egg McMuffins instead.
Employees then told Womack she would have to leave. She refused and stayed stopped in the drive-thru for nearly 10 minutes until police arrived. When deputies approached the car, Womack allegedly told them her rights were being violated, because they wouldn’t give her her free breakfast.
Deputies say they could smell alcohol on Womack’s breath and that she had bloodshot eyes. She reportedly told them she thought it was 4 a.m. and had taken a Klonopin.
After failing a field sobriety test, Womack was arrested for DUI. Her BAC came back at the time of her arrest as .108. Womack was released on Sunday evening.
