Man Too Lazy to Get Out of Car Attempts to Rob McDonald’s from Drive Thru

Police said they have arrested a man who tried to rob two McDonald’s restaurants while he was at the drive-thru windows.

Jason Scott Chrismon, 39, of Washington, was arrested and jailed in Wilson, police said Friday afternoon.

According to investigators, Chrismon pulled up to the drive-thru window of a McDonald’s in Wilson Thursday and tried to rob the restaurant. He was arrested shortly after by Wilson Police.

Before the attempted robbery in Wilson, Chrismon tried the same thing at a McDonald’s in Pitt County– the one on Cooperative Way in Farmville, police said.

Chrismon pulled up to the drive-thru window and paid for his order at about 5:25 p.m. Thursday, said investigators. While the clerk was counting bills, the suspect told her to give him the money from the cash drawer, claiming he had a gun, said police.

The clerk ran from the window and Chrismon drove off, police said. No one was hurt and no money was stolen.
