Police in York County said a woman was drunk when she tried to climb into a McDonald’s drive-thru window in Dover, then urinated in the parking lot early Sunday morning.
Court records in the case were not posted online as of Monday, but a Northern York County Regional Police press release states that Tammy Dawn Clement, 30, walked up to the drive-thru window of the McDonald’s in the 3100 block of Carlisle Road at about 12:10 a.m. Sunday.
Clement became upset when employees told her walk up patrons would not be served at the drive-thru and apparently tried to climb into the restaurant through the window, police said.
Employees were able to keep Clement out of the restaurant, but police said she then pulled down her pants and urinated in the parking lot.
Police arrived a short time later and learned that Clement had fled across the street to a convenience store, where officers reportedly found her hiding in a woman’s restroom. The release states Clement was intoxicated and resisted arrest, spitting in the face of one of the arresting officers.
Clement, of the first block of North Main Street, was charged with resisting arrest, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct, according to police. Bail information was not available Monday.
