A man arrested Thursday in a McDonald’s fast-food restaurant is accused of dealing prescription drugs, according to a Des Moines police report.
Therman Elvon Simpson, 43, is charged with nonsupport of a child, trespassing and possession of narcotics with intent to deliver.
According to the report, a McDonald’s employee at 601 University Ave. told officers that Simpson would not leave when they asked him to.
Police determined Simpson was wanted for child neglect and arrested him. While searching Simpson, the report said, police discovered 56 hydrocodone pills.
